Yellowfin Tuna

Yellowfin tuna is best known for its dark colour and firm texture. Perfect for a quick preparation. Tuna contains several valuable nutrients and is healthy and delicious! The Pacific tuna species are sustainably fished with hand lines. 

Method of preparation
Leave the packaged steaks to defrost in the fridge. Remove the plastic foil and dry the steaks with kitchen paper. Season the steaks or sprinkle them with lemon juice.
 

Frying pan
Fry with a little oil or butter for approx. 3-5 minutes and turn over after 2-3 minutes.
 

Oven (preheat to 180°C)
Wrap the steaks in aluminium foil with garlic and soya sauce, and heat in the oven for approx. 12 to 15 minutes.
 

Grill pan
Brush the steaks with oil and grill them for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn them halfway through the heating time. After grilling, season to choice.
