Good and healthy food

 

Good and healthy food gets more and more attention and is very important. Especially… eat fish twice a week. You determine what you eat yourself, but fish is good and healthy food.
 
Fish contain many valuable nutrients: proteins, unsaturated (=good) fats, vitamins and minerals. Especially fat fish such as mackerel, herring, eel, sardines and salmon are rich in Omega 3 fish fat. This fat protects the body against cardiovascular diseases and is important for the development of our brain and eyes.
 
A good healthy daily diet consists of :
 
  • vegetables and fruit
  • bread, cereals, potatoes, rice, pasta and pulses
  • dairy, meat, meat replacements, eggs and fish
  • fats and oil
  • drink
 
A healthy and varied food pattern consists of choosing from all these groups every day. Eating fish twice a week is therefore healthy!
