Green Farm is Pangasius farming programme developed by Vinh Hoan Corp in the middle of 2007 with "green messages" based on AquaGap standards:

 

• Attention to community factor and living conditions of workers
• Environment protection, preserving the green
• Farmed fish is 'Clean' and 'Healthy', ensuring food safety, towards farming without using antibiotics
• Farming with control and traceability

 

What is AquaGap?

• AquaGap is standards on good aquaculture practice applied to Pangasius
• AquaGap is certified by Swiss IMO (Institute for Marketecology)
• AquaGap defines practical rules of farming based following major contents:

   - Community factor

   - Environment factor

   - Food safety

   - Traceability

 

Vinh Hoan Corp has presently run eight farming regions with the total area of 140ha, producing 50.000MT per year. The Corp is planning to expand the farming area to satisfy 70 percent of demand for raw fish of its processing plants.
