Regal Springs works to show itself faithful in adhering to (and often superseding) the standards that are required by each country’s laws (Mexico, Honduras, Indonesia). Regal Springs Tilapia actively engages local leaders and authorities to determine what the legal and cultural parameters of each community are. Fostering good relationships with local leaders and authorities is key in developing long-term programs that benefit everyone involved.
At our most recent addition, in Mexico, both Federal and Provincial governments are in full support of our company’s plans with direct employment exceeding 5’000 personnel within the coming 5 years. As the project area comprises several large lakes where politically powerful fishermen’s COOPS are based, requests from their sides have reached Regal Springs for technical and financial support of their nascent fish farming activities. We are honoured and glad to work with them.
